Turkey to support women entrepreneurs with business development grants

With a business development grant, 30 entrepreneur women will be given 765 thousand TL of support through the “My Sister Grant Program”.

According to the statement made by the Habitat Association, the program conducted in cooperation with the coordination of Turkey Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges (TOBB), Habitat Association and Coca-Cola Turkey Applications for the program carried out in cooperation with Habitat accept applications until February 26.

The program, which aims to support 30 female entrepreneurs in the food and beverage sectors, aims to contribute to the strengthening of women’s socioeconomic status.

Within the scope of the program, 29 entrepreneur women in the food and beverage sector (already owning businesses) will be supported with a business development grant; 25 thousand TL each, and a special jury award of 40 thousand TL will be given for 1 woman entrepreneur.

In the first phase of the program, which will be carried out in four stages, entrepreneurial women in the food and beverage sector who have completed the online trainings on the website of kizkardeşim.net will be able to apply online until February 26 with the certificate they receive from the website.

Technical elimination will take place in the second stage. In the third stage, the participants with the highest score on a province basis, will be invited to the Grant Program Camp to be held online. The camp will last for 2 days, and accelerator trainings will be held for women. In the fourth stage, in the final jury evaluation, 30 women who get the highest score according to the grant criteria will be entitled to receive business development grants. The final will take place online.
